This is one of the most intriguing units based on its location. Our favorite place to stay on Maui is the Napili Kai (see our January 2004 Hawaii vacation). This is one of the smallest developments, maybe only 59 units and only two stories high. It is located directly across the small road from the Napili Kai resort and right next to the first hole of the Kapalua golf course. It is an easy walk to the beautiful Napili Bay with wonderful beach, swimming and snorkeling. You can also walk to the restaurant at Napili Kai or the restaurant at the Bay Course at Kapalua. It is also just a short walk to a little local store or a short drive to a larger shopping center. It has an ok pool on the grounds but no BBQs. There are no ocean views but a large number of units have a view of the 1st hole of the Kapalua Bay Golf Course.
