Well we tried Holland and our review is mixed. Embarkation was absolutely the worst ever. San Diego is just not
equipped to handle two ships at a time. We paid for Club Orange to get priority embarkation and debarkation. Neither
happened. 90 minutes in line to board and a very, very long line to go thru customs in the main stage.
Food on board was good, but the selection in the dining room was more limited than other lines. Entertainment was mixed. The main theater was large and well equipped. However we had a modern dance troop 3 times, magician and a comedian. Very disappointing. On the other hand teh cover band, led by Todd Johnson, was fantastic in the Rolling Stone rock room. Service in all areas was great. Staff was friendly, efficient and prompt. Overall we will stick with Celebrity and Princess for our cruising. |
