Since we had to cancel the Celebrity Beyond cruise in April we booked this to replace it.
This was an interesting cruise. Lots of good things and lots of not so good things. The crew and staff were all friendly and good at their jobs, the food was good (with 1 exception, later) and the ship was a nice layout and clean. We enjoyed O'Malley's Pub with Irish music. We met a very nice Irish couple, Joe and Sharon. We also tried a new service with our luggage during disembarkation. For $25 per person when they picked up our bags at night they took them to the airport, put them on the plane and gave you your boarding pass. Everything worked fine and we did not have to drag Our luggage around.
This cruise was really, really crowded. Our first week the ship was sailing with almost 4,100 passenger, the first time they were ever over 4,000 passengers and a lot of them were kids. The kids actually turned out not to be a big problem if you stayed away from the main pool area. Gigis was a huge disappointment. Pizza was not very good and we quit eating there after the 2nd time. It was June in the Caribbean, very hot and humid.
Overall we enjoyed the cruise but will avoid summer in the Carib when school is out.
